Corporate Reporting ManagerWe are searching for an experienced Corporate Reporting ManagerOverall job purpose An exciting opportunity to join the internal finance
function (NFO) as a Corporate Reporting Manager.  The team is
responsible for the monthly management accounts journals, balance sheet
reporting, which includes monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all areas
such as accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, other payables, other receivables,
along with ad-hoc projects/ reporting.  This is a wide and varied role with strong professional
development opportunities; the successful candidate playing an
integral part in driving forward the corporate reporting
function of the firm; responsible for the development of the junior members of

The National Finance Office is the engine room of our business, we support RSM UK with a high-quality accounting service that includes cash management.Responsibilities To manage, coach & develop junior colleagues within the team, supporting their professional development, contributing to the wider culture of the teamTo play a lead role in managing risk, ensuring the team’s output i.e Balance sheet reconciliations are compliant with both regulatory and internal standards; processes and controls documentedTo apply this business understanding to ensure accurate and complete accounting records are maintained; meaningful and insightful management information producedTo undertake specific related projects as agreedTo be solution-focussed, empowered to challenge existing processes; ensuring they are robust, efficient, and accurateTo develop a thorough understanding of the firm’s internal finance reporting systems and methodologiesTo promote collaboration with other parts of NFO, ensuring best practice is adopted Professional and Personal qualities ACCA, ACA or CIMA QualifiedIT proficient with strong MS excel skillsA credible individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbalSelf-motivated and able to show initiativeBehavioural Competencies Manages work determinedly and effectively, anticipating potential problems and constraints and addressing these to ensure deadlines and targets are metIs passionate about achieving goals and meeting high expectationsAbility to work under pressure and cope with high and varied workloadsCredible individual with the intellectual ability to encourage, challenge and influence colleaguesAccurate, strong attention to detailNote: This job description reflects the present
