The Reporting Team is small but highly visible and you will have exposure to senior leaders within the business.What will you bring?You will work on the Solvency II balance sheet, USGAAP and UKGAAP reporting and P&L results for internal and external reporting purposes.  To liaise with and act as a point of contact for the broader business and some external customers, and to provide accurate technical input and guidance in areas of expertise.To provide line management, guidance and coaching for actuarial students within the teams, as required.Play a key role in pro-actively developing processes within the team.To be able to communicate confidently and effectively on technical topics to a wide range of audiences and to influence cross functional business decision making.Live the Unum Leadership Expectations and the We Are Unum Values.Required Knowledge and Skills:Newly qualified Actuary.Previous experience in the Life Insurance industry an advantage.Knowledge of actuarial life insurance systems and software an advantage.Highly numerate with good IT skills (Excel).Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with and lead teams, ensuring excellent levels of verbal and written communication at all times.Motivated, enthusiastic and enquiring.Able to manage a number of actuarial trainees, and provide on the job and career coaching.#LI-EM1Why join us?Our culture!We aim to be the most inclusive, diverse and socially responsible company in the employee benefits market.
