This will be a key role, responsbile for leading the Policyholder Assets transtion activities to ensure optimal customer outcomes are achieved, mananged and controlled when policyholder assets are moved between managers, funds and structures.Who are we?We want to be the best place that any of our colleagues have ever worked. Management and recommendation of strategy in all stages of a transition proposal. This is accomplished through the use of risk models, optimization systems and other trade analytics systems. Research implementation costs associated with various strategies and implement the most cost-effective strategy.Coordinate implementation with Middle Office, external asset managers and Investment Operations teams on behalf of policyholder assets teamDecision making on trading techniques and timelines that protect members and shareholdersPreparation of pre-trade analyses to assess trade liquidity and portfolio risksFormulation of trading and hedging strategies that best reduce the trade costs and minimizes portfolio riskLiaising with the trading desk to implement the trading and hedging strategiesPreparation of post trade analyses to determine and evidence the effectiveness of the trade implementationWhat we're ideally looking forQualificationsCFA/SIE (desirable)Degree level preferredinvestment qualifications desiredExperience / Personal AttributesUnderstanding of asset classes across equities, fixed income and alternatives (illiquids) and the drivers of cost of trading these asset classesUnderstanding of the technqiues and strategies to transiton asset portfolios effectivelyStrong stakeholder management with exposure at Senior Management level Significant asset management product knowledgeBroad understanding of legal, tax and regulatory environmentActs on own initiative, able to make logical decisions and formulate judgements.Able to develop and maintain communication and relationships at all levels of the Group across different business channelsWhy choose us?
