Exciting opportunity based in North London managing Bookkeeping / Outsource department services for approximately 120 clients of varying size, performing regular bookkeeping and calculating VAT. You will be an experienced manager running the department. Monitoring the quality of work performed by internal staff and the work performed by the outsourced staff to ensure that it meets company standards. Communicating with clients and answering any questions they may have Managing department’s staff and also managing workflow with the outsource company. Reporting to partners/ Directors Training / Investigating / Providing information about new software / technologies and industry trends to help improve efficiency and productivity of the department . You will possess proven experience working in a practice environment, have been in a managerial / senior position and have following experience: High proficiency of using Xero and using this efficiently. Requesting Bookkeeping & VAT documents from clients. Preparation of VAT returns. Preparation of monthly CIS returns You will work flexibly partly from home and partly from the office.What you need to do now
