Location: Newbury or Southwark (blended/hybrid working)The Mobile Product and Proposition Team provide a central strategic leadership role to the Vodafone UK Enterprise Business Unit. Working within the Proposition team you will have exposure to a wide range of functions across the business. You’ll bring knowledge, insight and business judgement across the proposition lifecycle. The proposition team takes the lead in identifying market trends and ensuring the mobile portfolio of VFUK addresses these trends. As a Product and Propositions Manager you will develop the plan and strategy for your portfolio, working across the business to develop and improve your products while working hand in hand with our marketing and sales colleagues. Small business is a key priority within our long-term strategy and this role will work closely with our group colleagues and top 4 Opcos to co-create and collaborate on the future strategy and propositional roadmap. You will manage the full life cycle of all products within our SOHO and SME segments including supporting and maintaining relationships with both direct and indirect Sales Channels by ensuring portfolio, collaterals and sales tools are constantly up to date and position Vodafone in a winning position in the market.
The products must be easy to understand by the sales team but more importantly by the customer, enabling the EBU to drive the required sale growth in the DB. The Proposition Manager is accountable for driving the P&L via constantly checking the market relevance of our product and ensuring that they are commercially viable and aligned with the strategic direction of the business.What will you be doing? Developing and planning proposition strategy and objectives (identifying target markets, target setting, competitor analysis and performance management).Delivering customer insight to support the development of future propositions, promotions and opportunities for Vodafone.Ensure that the proposition refreshes meet the required profitability levels.Managing relationships with Sales, Commercial/Pricing, Marketing, Brand & Product leads to ensure that launches are aligned to overall proposition strategy and sales are achieving commercial objectives with regular updates.Formulate and agree a programme of Proposition refreshes and complete the necessary analysis and business case, highlighting key risks, opportunities and actions to mitigate.Who are we looking for? Experience in a Proposition and/or Product function within Telecoms.Experience of leading cross-functional teams and engaging with Senior Management Commercial understanding with ability to deduce KPI’sInnovative approach to Product & Proposition Development, along with experience in delivering end-to-end strategy, plan and business caseExperience of UK Business mobile market.
