It’s this sense of pace, innovating and improving pretty much everything we do, that makes Trainline so exciting and unique - we truly believe our work has a genuine impact and will change travel for the better.We’re looking for an App Store Optimisation (ASO) Manager to drive performance from the App Store and Google Play store across multiple markets. You will work closely with the rest of the App Marketing team who are responsible for driving users directly to the App. You will be responsible for the ASO strategy, setting up A/B tests to improve conversion rate and improving keyword ranks across our UK and international markets. You will need to be both highly analytical and creative for this role. You will need to be able to create a roadmap and generate new hypotheses for creative testing, along with analysing and reporting on results to the rest of the business. You will have strong experience in developing ASO strategies for Apps, a strong knowledge of the App Store algorithms and experience working with App Store Connect and Google Play Console. As a real ASO enthusiast, you will always be looking for the next big opportunity by keeping up-to-date with Apple and Google’s updates and best practices. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop best in class ASO strategies across App Store, Google Play Store and Huawei. Create and maintain a testing roadmap to improve conversion rates across key markets. Research, monitor and report on keyword performance across key markets. Work closely with brand and product teams to support full funnel campaigns and keep up-to-date on new product features we can promote. Establish country specific strategies to improve discoverability and conversion rate on the Stores. Responsible for the product pages and uploading new screenshots and metadata. Own analytics of ASO performance and regular reporting to stakeholders. Become the point of contact in the business for the topic of ASO. Stay up to date on new industry developments and opportunities. RequirementsStrong knowledge of App Store algorithms, best practices and strategies for growing apps organically across multiple geos. Experience working with App Store Connect and Google Play Console. Experience working with ASO tools e.g.AppTweak or AppAnnie. Understanding of how ASO fits into the wider App Marketing strategy. Understanding of the importance of localisation. Both an analytical and creative mindset. Strong communication and collaborative working skills. We value open expression at Trainline, we believe it’s the diversity of experience, backgrounds and perspectives of our employees that makes us who we are.
