We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Communications Manager, Climate

In this role, you will:

Support the delivery of a clear and impactful communications strategy to position HSBC as the leading bank for the transition to net zero Plan and execute communications on key climate-related topics, managing a range of inputs to develop robust and impactful runwaysEngage stakeholders across the business to provide strategic communications advice Support the drafting of core communications materials for C-Suite stakeholdersWork in close collaboration with the wider Communications and Brand team to develop and deliver proactive and reactive communications content (whether campaign-led or tactical e.g. media lines) on a proactive and reactive basisAct as a key strategic advisor to colleagues on climate issues
Qualifications To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant fieldMinimum of 3 to 5 years of communications experienceKnowledge of or keen interest in sustainability, particularly climate changeA strong communications generalist Proactive, collaborative and a fast learner  Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent stakeholder relationship management

Location for this role is London, hybrid.
