People Communications ManagerWe are searching for an experienced People Communications ManagerPurpose of the RoleThis is a brand new role within the RSM UK Brand and Communications Team with the purpose of developing a powerful employer brand which will set us apart as the advisor of choice for middle market business leaders and prospective employees. You will be responsible for creating our employer brand communications ecosystem, connecting people to our business purpose in an inspiring way, and bringing to life our people strategy through delivering an engaging connections plan.Working in close partnership with the Brand and Communications Team, the People Team, and our agency partner, you will bring energy and passion to the design of creative led solutions to inspire our people, and attract the best talent.The experience you bring from having previously worked on employer brand campaigns, and built successful people communication strategies, means you have an empathy for bringing to life the employer brand narrative in a compelling way for every audience.Our agency partner is a true extension of our team, and in this role you will manage the relationship on a day to day basis, coordinating with our project management team to deliver spectacular, award-winning campaigns.As we are at the start of this journey, you will be supporting the leadership in identifying the talent and development needs of your team, enabling you to achieve the plans. You will bring inspiration and motivation to a growing team, as well as partnering and collaborating with our internal stakeholders and influencers.This is a incredibly varied role, and as the right candidate you will be highly motivated, inquisitive, adaptable and an excellent project manager, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and bring the outside in.  You will have a strong sense and understanding of the bigger picture, with the ability to get to the heart of an issue connecting with stakeholders of all levels. We are an ambitious team with an innovative mindset, and we celebrate fresh thinking and embrace change.ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic leadership on the development of our employer brand in the UK.Coordinate the development and implementation of the employer brand plan with the Brand and Communications Team and the People team.Manage the employer brand connections plan to ensure maximum brand exposure with efficient and effective use of resources, alongside and intrinsically linked to our client brand plans.Oversee the alignment of all people activity to the brand plan, ensuring a fully integrated insight-led activation and connection plan, driving improved awareness and perception of RSM.Ensure the brand messaging is developed and communicated consistently and authentically.Working with our agency partner, bring to life bespoke insight, our employee engagement survey, internal data and spot trends to inform our campaign development, with a passion for building and spreading these stories through a multi-channel approach.Identify and track key measures to report on brand performance, making recommendations to course-correct where necessary.Build relationships with key stakeholders including the People Partner, CEO, COO, Head of Talent, Head of Employee Experience, Head of Digital, Head of Design, Head of Internal Communications, and our Brand and Project Managers. Responsible for the development and performance of the growing people communications team.Play a key role in the brand and communications team, contributing effectively to meetings, presentations, projects and workstreams etc, and demonstrating a collaborative approach within the team.Actively manage the employer brand budget to ensure maximum return on investment and track performance against KPIs.Personal and professional qualities6+ years brand management experience in consumer, professional services or agency businesses.3+ year experience of people, hr or recruitment.Line management and stakeholder management experience.Knowledge across a spectrum of brand marketing disciplines.Passionate brand advocate and champion.Strong understanding of financial performance measures and factors that influence this. Strong understanding of campaign performance metrics.A professional, credible and confident communicator, with strong influencing skills and the ability to work effectively, displaying confidence and national authority.Excellent project management and coordination skills.A proactive and self-motivated individual.An active team player.Flexible WorkingAt RSM we work hard to create an environment where our people can make a difference - to themselves, their career, their teams, and to the success of our firm and clients.
