Summary:You will be pivotal in growing our content and the impact it has on our overall marketing strategies across multi-channel platforms throughout EMEA. The Content Manager will be responsible for driving development of thought leadership perspectives and content including content briefs, research papers, case studies, commentaries, by-lined articles and conference/webinar presentations. The role will also be responsible with working with internal and external public relations resources to build a strategy around the delivery of that content and perspectives via the media. You will be accountable for and embrace the entire process, from idea generation and development to final product.Produce high quality, thought leadership content appropriate for all audiences or targeted segments (DB, DC, Charities)Ensure SEI’s Institutional business remains relevant, challenging and innovative in the way it represents it philosophies and perspectivesActively engage with industry trends, market opinion and competitor activity to ensure a constant stream of idea generation and commentary.What you’ll do:End to end responsibility for thought leadership content (e.g. content briefs, research papers, case studies, commentaries, by-lined articles, conference/webinar presentations)Oversee media strategies and distribution of content via media by working with internal corporate communications team and external public relations agency onOversee the facilitation of a collaborative process aimed at identifying topics, gaining consensus on the company’s perspective and creating content briefsCollect and leverage quantitative and qualitative data to create a queue of topics driven by the interests and needs of our customersRun regular meetings with subject matter experts and Institutional marketing.Work with stakeholders across the business to substantiate messaging with analysis and/or client examples.Leverage/adapt/refine Investment Management Unit generated global content for a UK audience.Scope out the objectives for each piece of content, identify the benefits to the end user and craft content that meets these. Drive key conclusions, ensuring these are clear using evidence, editorial techniques and formatting.Personally ensure that each piece of content is relevant to our value proposition and differentiators.Work with legal and compliance to meet regulatory requirements whilst maintaining optimal messaging.Best Practice:Constant awareness of market conditions, regulation, SEI products and servicesAdhere to all relevant FCA requirements and compliance; andAny other ad-hoc projects as required.What you’ll bring to the role:Knowledge of investment industry, asset classes and investment styles, institutional pensions experience preferable.Understanding of public relations / media relations process along with understanding of the nuances in writing across print and digital.Technical investment knowledge: IMC minimum, CFA desirable.Strong communicator, with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to guarantee content production follows and meets the timescales within an agreed workflow.Skilled project manager, with the ability to work flexibly and manage multiple deadlines.Ideally degree educated, financially literate and a confident writer with solid marketing or marketing communications experience within financial services, pensions preferable.A team player and self-motivated with great attention to detail Excellent IT skills across all Microsoft office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.SEI is an equal opportunities employer and so much more…After 50 years, SEI remains a leading global provider of investment management, investment processing and investment operations solutions.
