Job Title:Display ManagerJob Description:Role OverviewThe candidate will report into their line manager with the expectation of delivering best in class Display planning and buying across all campaigns. They will demonstrate they are a first-class operator that sets a high standard: showing robust organisation, diligence, productivity and commercial acumen.The successful candidate will work across our clients – Beiersdorf, Lionsgate, Wickes and Arla.As a Carat Investment Manager your responsibilities will cover (not exhaustive): Manage the team to deliver consistent and best in class campaigns across display (digital and print)Ensure client servicing is to a high standard for you and all direct reportsDevelop strong relationships with media ownersDemonstrate your media expertise, especially display, on a regular basisBringing progressive ideas to life in media response and operational excellenceDemonstrate commercial excellence and lead on commercial deliveryKey ResponsibilitiesPlanningProvide high quality implementation and innovative media solutions in response to briefs from comms planners and/or clientsFull understanding of display planning tools (PRISMA /MEDIATEL / CLEAR DECISIONS, MEDIA EXPLORER) and confidently interpret the data provide to form robust rationales that ladder back to clients objectives/KPIs.Responsible for the correct management of Display Investment and billings across your clientsImplement innovative and creative ideas to the Display planning process for your clients and share with wider teamAttending all media owner meetings & surgeriesBuild strong relationship with clients so that you become a trusted member of the Carat team and contribute to positive TRR scoresConfident at interpreting data to track progress of campaigns live for digital & printed display. (Addynamix,DCM).Operational ExcellenceExpert use of all Display systems without any support. Able to pull data confidently, with a in depth of knowledge of system. Able to assist and develop knowledge of others across the team.Building strong working relationships with DAN Opco’s including Amplifi Commercial, MBST and TSLAble to confidently train and develop the Junior members in the teamImplement innovative and creative ideas to the operating processes across the departmentLiaising with Paragon to ensure that all team admin is up to date and accurate by required deadlines (Reporting / billings, PCAs etc)Department ContributionRegularly contributing to Department meetings, providing in depth analysis to show wider department your print and digital knowledge.Be a key part of projects of change across the department, using your expertise to assess and recommend current practices.Be an inspiring advocate for all Display media: translating to teamwork which deliver clients objectivesSupports new business pitches and huddles when requiredHelping to train & develop direct reports, including identifying and addressing any training or development needs across ID (DCM/ MedX/ Prisma / Stack etc)Share and contribute opinion of media news on Teams, at department meetings and to clientsPeopleBeing a DAN Ambassador, understanding the Carat vision current + futureManaging a team to deliver consistent and best in class campaigns across IDEnsures development of team members, making sure content of regular catch up’s are aligned to personal development plans and business objectivesManage your teams workflow, output and developmentAble to support the well-being needs of the individuals within their teamGrowthSupports Director and team in cultivating and delivering commercials in their patches.Supports Director and Partner to understand how their businesses can be most effective in supporting One Display and looks to convert on opportunities to partner in a commercially viable and innovative mannerLiaises with Comms team to evaluate and where necessary troubleshoot investment strategiesPersonal ExcellenceHighly numerate and analyticalCalm under pressure and able to deliver work to deadlines.Decision makerProblem solverStrong interpersonal skillsGood communication across all levels with Amplifi team, external media owners and Op CosAbility to prioritise workloadsStrong negotiatorGreat attention to detail – Ability to ensure 100% accuracy across all planning and commercial processes.Ability to prioritise workloads across you and your teamProactive attitude to work and career developmentIT literate – competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and able to pick up new systems as necessaryFlexibility to work outside of contractual hours as and when requiredTrainingExcelInfluencing SkillsPresentation SkillsDelegationMedia MathsIPA FoundationMarket KnowledgeWeekly L+D sessionsAbout dentsu international Part of dentsu, dentsu international headquartered in London operates in over 145 markets worldwide with more than 48,000 dedicated specialists.
