The ASOS customer is at the heart of everything we do.We are also big on development and upskilling - not only will the successful candidate have the knowledge, skills and tools of the wider insight team at its disposal, but they will also have the opportunity to join an accredited data fellowship with our partners at Multiverse.THE ROLEAs the Insight Manager you will be supporting the Commercial Planning and Trading teams and play a significant role in understanding and informing business performance and leading on insight deliverables for ASOS Operating Board.You will be responsible forGenerating insight that gives a well-rounded view of sales drivers with analysis on retail product and stock, marketing channels and promotions, customer metrics and market intelligence to support business' understanding of short and mid-term performanceWorking with Senior Insight Managers, Head of Insight, and senior leadership within Commercial and Trading functions to bring insight and recommendations to ASOS Operating Board and other relevant trade forums, that will enable nimble and insight-led decision-makingWorking with senior stakeholders in Commercial Merchandising to understand sales drivers at division and category level, and identifying relevant levers at hand to ensure we meet financial targetsWorking with Lead Analyst and Global Planning to drive a view of opportunity within stock planning and management across our global warehouses and how this affects short-term performanceWorking with Digital Commerce and Digital Experience to generate insights that seek to educate the business on the impact that onsite customer behaviours and visual merchandising actions can have on trading KPIsWorking with the Senior Manager and Trading senior leadership to develop and prioritise a roadmap of relevant, strategic insightProducing and delivering concise, action-focused insight presentations that have a clear narrativeManaging, coaching, and developing a team of analysts of varying skillsetWorking with other Insight team members, as well as stakeholders, to ensure the recommendations we deliver to the business are aligned and informed with commercial backgroundChallenging existing analysis processes to improve efficiencies, and challenging analytical methodologies to improve accuracy of insights and maintain a focus on keeping the business and team at the forefront of analytics approachesChampion retail data and insight across the wider insight team, ensuring correct methods and metrics are used#L1 - CH2QualificationsExperience working in a digital analytics role focussing on retail insight, preferably within the e-commerce spaceHighly numerate and strong attention to detailPassion for problem solvingProactive approach and enthusiasm for sharing ideas and driving them forwardAble to communicate information clearly and conciselyGood project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities as neededBachelors Degree or equivalent in a relevant quantitative discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Business, Finance)Advanced SQL skillsStrong web analytics skills (Adobe, Google Analytics)Regression analysis/statistical modellingAdditional InformationWhat's in it for you?Competitive salary, pension, and private medical care schemePerformance related bonusFlex benefits allowance - which you can chose to take as extra cash, or use towards other benefits25 days paid annual leave + an extra day for your birthdayEmployee discount (hello ASOS discount!)We want our people to be whoever they want to be.
