Job Title:DRTV ManagerJob Description:Role Purpose The candidate will report into their line manager with the expectation of delivering best in class DRTV planning, buying and reporting across all campaigns.Key AccountabilitiesSupport the team to deliver consistent and best in class campaigns across AVManage the planning and buying across all DRTV clientsEnsure client servicing is to a high standard, presenting to clients when requiredBuild your relationships with media ownersDemonstrate the key principles of media, especially AVBuyingEnsuring that schedules are booked on correctly and tracking sheets are updated regularlyTrack delivery vs plan and optimisations, liaising with media owners to action turnaroundsResponsible for delivery of planned campaign targets and KPIsMaintain the accuracy of wider AV reporting such as Deal ScreenGood knowledge of the TV stations across the network, general programming and audiencesBuilding strong working relationships with all media ownersRelevant analysis of findings in reports and PCA’s, able to optimise and give recommendations where applicableAssist in full reconciliation of campaigns across your clients and be responsible for the campaigns you boughtBring innovative and creative ideas to the AV buying processPlanningDevelop knowledge of the AV market, keeping abreast of different innovations that may work well for your clientsCorrectly pulling spot times for client campaigns, with accompanying emailsLiaising with the admin team to set up campaignsAttending all media owner meetings & keep up to date with industry newsAttend all client / comms status to get a full understanding of all media campaigns across your client patchHelping to deliver high quality implementation and innovative media solutions by supporting team and contributing to Responses to BriefCorrect management of Investment across your clients which includes AVP management, Caria uploads and billingsBring innovative and creative ideas to the AV planning process.Operational ExcellenceLiaising with Paragon to ensure that all team admin is up to date and accurate by required deadlines (spot times / billings etc)Understanding of different DAN Opco’s including Amplifi and TSLConfident use of all AV systems without any support. Able to pull data confidently, with a in depth of knowledge of system.Building strong working relationships with DAN Opco’s including Amplifi Commercial, MBST and TSLDepartment ContributionRegularly attend media owner meetings and hot desksContributing to buyers huddles and meetings where appropriateCommunicate news with the wider AV team, particularly across the smaller saleshousesRegularly leading Team Huddles and contributing with in depth analysis to show wider department your TV knowledgeContribute to AV Department meetings and other projects across the wider teamHelping to train & develop future direct reports, including identifying and addressing any training or development needs across AV (CARIA / DDS / Prisma / Stack etc)Person SpecificationHighly numerate and analyticalGreat attention to detail – ability to ensure 100% accuracy across all planning and commercial processesCalm under pressure and able to deliver work to deadlinesPunctualDecision makerStrong interpersonal skills Good communication across all levels within team, external media owners and comms plannersProblem solvingNegotiation skillsAbility to prioritise workloadsProactive attitude to work and career developmentIT literate – competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and able to pick up new systems as necessaryFlexibility to work outside of contractual hours as and when requiredBe an ambassador for the business, connecting across internal and external networks to deliver the operating model and build the brand reputation of dentsu international.About dentsu international Part of dentsu, dentsu international headquartered in London operates in over 145 markets worldwide with more than 48,000 dedicated specialists.
