Your Role:

Merck’s Neurology franchise operates in an increasingly dynamic and competitive environment. As the MS landscape continues to rapidly evolve, it is critical that Merck can deliver highly impactful promotional peer-to-peer programmes to address our strategic imperatives and reinforce brand positioning. To deliver on our ambitious UK & ROI peer to peer plans, it is essential there is a dedicated Peer to Peer Brand Manager, who is a core member of the N&I brand team. The role provides a good mix of strategy and tactical execution as the post holder is responsible for maintaining strategic oversight and direction of the full peer-to-peer calendar, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, whilst leading on the execution of key national meetings. Act as a core member of the neurology brand team, responsible for developing and communicating a clear peer to peer strategy. Maintain strategic oversight of a highly impactful UK & ROI peer-to-peer programme, ensuring that there is a cohesive and co-ordinated plan which is aligned with brand strategic imperatives and plans. Ensure the timely dissemination of key data and messages to key stakeholders/accounts through peer-to-peer events. Effectively manage the promotional P2P budget to ensure the delivery of impactful and cost-effective events. Build and maintain an extensive network of UK Healthcare Professionals relationships, leveraging insights to shape our P2P strategy and collaborate with them to deliver on the P2P strategy.

Who You Are:

Educated to degree level or similar (ideally in a life sciences or business discipline)Ability to grasp complex scientific topics, identify the key concepts and communicate these effectively in commercial campaigns and materialsStrong strategy skills and able to see ‘the big picture’Demonstratable project management capabilitiesAbility to juggle multiple competing deadlines and priorities effectivelySound knowledge of ABPI & IPHA codes of practice and ability to apply these to commercial activitiesCollaborative style of working with others to maximise stakeholder alignmentCustomer centric with the ability to build strong key external relationshipsHigh levels of influencing skills
