Market Research Manager

A new role currently exists for a Strategic/Market Research Manager with a strong professional/legal strategic market research and analysis background and the ability to scope, develop and resource commercial business research, gained within a large international services environment. With a remit to provide stakeholders with high quality, value added business research, analysis and insight on clients, sectors and markets to improve strategic decision making and develop successful client, market and sector strategies across new and existing geographies. As a Market Research Manager your brief includes:
•Supporting the running & development of the (Strategy & Business development) Global Market Research team
•Work closely with the Senior Manager, Market Research, the virtual (outsourced) Market Research team and the research partner to deliver high quality projects
•Acting as a key client interface for the Strategic Market Research function for BD & Marketing functions as well as other key stakeholders - Partners
•Delivering high quality research services, focusing on responsiveness, client satisfaction, effective client communication & excellent client service
•Lead and improve strategic decision making delivering best practice in developing successful client, market and sector strategies across new and existing geographies
•Support the Strategy & transformation teams develop, assess and prioritise their business and marketing plans and activities to deliver on the firm’s 2020/21 strategy
•Assisting with the delivery of functional transformation, elevating customer service levels & model appropriate behaviours to enable positive change
•Manage & enhance MI/BI & strategic research to support the delivery of improved operations & client relationships
•Lead in identifying strategic initiatives for developing & enhancing client relationships
As a 2:1/1st class graduate with significant strategic & market research and analysis experience, the ability to scope, develop and resource commercial BI business research and the skills to review, synthesize and analyse high volumes of quantitative and qualitative information, gained within a large Legal, Professional Services or international business environment, you will demonstrate a creative and strategic mind-set, outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong stakeholder focus. The role demands the ability to work in cross-functional teams, with attention to detail and a self-motivated approach in a dynamic, challenging environment.
