Accounts Receivable Manager | Tech Start-Up | £30,000-£37,000 | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a high-growth online Technology Start-Up to recruit a brand-new post.

Due to a huge shift in the demand of online services this company has grown exponentially over Covid and has built a Finance team from scratch over the last 12 months hiring exceptional talent from the Start-Up space.

The CEO and founder of this company has previously built and sold an online software giant and plans to expand operations internationally as well as diversify the range of the services the company are able to offer online to businesses and private customers.

As part of the businesses' ambitious plans, the company are looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Manager.

The role

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will manage the sales ledger day to day as well as look to automate/streamline processes to ensure debtor tracking and reporting is a clear and easy process. In the mid-term the company are looking to implement a SaaS payments system which you will help integrate and manage.

Core duties include:

  • Take ownership of customer invoicing, refunds and discounts. You will work with the customer billing team to ensure the financial information is correct and that their clients are being invoiced correctly.
  • The reconciliation of invoices against customer accounts
  • Oversee pricing structures for new customers
  • Liaise with customers to help resolve queries regarding to invoices and payments
  • Take ownership of daily bank reconciliations
  • Oversee debt collection and debtor reporting
  • Designing and implementing projects that will be driving platform development & improvement

What we'd like to see from you*

ESSENTIAL:

  • You will have previously worked within AR for a Start-Up
  • You will want to be part of a fast-growing businesses where activities will grow massively and evolve over the next 12 months. You will be able keep up with change within the business and its revenue streams which will direct impact your work on the ledger
  • You will be able to work relatively autonomously and pro-actively be able to think about how the AR function can be improved without the "hand-holding" of a line manager who will be looking for you to add your own flavour to the function

STRONGLY DESIRABLE

  • Prior experience working with SaaS receivables system
