  • THE POSITION:

Expandys is representing a number of international brands from the DIY, Furniture and building materials sectors in the UK.

The Account Manager will lead the efforts in representing these brands locally In the UK:

- Analyse their market potential in the UK

- Support them in adapting their offer if needed

- Become the local UK representative for these brands

- Coordinate all actions taken in the UK market for them

- Identify key distribution / retail players for each of these brands : DIY, Furniture and building materials importers & distributors in the UK, UK DIY retailers, UK furniture retailers, Builders merchants, online retailers, etc…

- Being instrumental in prospecting & negotiating a partnership with identified targets, in close collaboration with the brands

- Coordinate the answers to tenders

- Support in new product launches

- Support in supply chain & logistics matters when appropriate

  • YOUR PROFILE:

Required:

- Business Degree Graduate

- English language native

- 2 to 6 years Post Qualified Experience

- B to B commercial experience in the DIY, Furniture, Building materials sectors

- Autonomous with effective prioritisation skills

- Curious, eager to learn

- Team player

- Good analytical as well as operational/hands on skills

Appreciated:

- Knowledge of CRM software

- Another European language a plus

  • TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

-Duration: Permanent position

-Reporting line: to the UK Director

-Office Hours: Monday to Thursday from 9am to 6pm. Fridays from 9am to 5pm. 1h break

-Home office possible

-Full training provided

-Salary: base salary will depend on level of experience. Bonus scheme linked to performance reviews.
