 HR Manager



Are you a strong HR Generalist who is looking for their chance to step up into a HR Manager role? If so our Events and Conferencing client is looking for someone like you! Our well known and highly regarded conferencing and exhibitions client based in the heart of London has an immediate need for a HR Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This role is a hybrid role of 3 days in the office and 2 at home.


What does the role entail?

This business is an SME of currently around 50 employees and growing fast. This role is a standalone HR Manager position and you will report directly into the Managing Director. You will look after the full generalist remit which includes, Recruitment, Learning and Development, Employee relations, HR Administration and Payroll administration for the Finance team (HR Changes etc). You will be able to put your mark on the current HR processes and so you will be creative and able to generate new and innovative ways of working. You will also assist on Employee wellbeing and staff event days. You will have a chance to shape the compensation and benefits offerings too as well as any other HR Business as usual duties.

What skills will you have to be a success?

You will have worked as a HR Generalist for at least 3 years or will have experience working as a standalone HR Manager. Ideally you will have worked within a fast-paced business within start-ups, SME’s or the Events, Media or sales sectors. You will have strong Employment Law knowledge, with experience within Recruitment and Learning and development (training calendars, appraisal completions).
