Main Purpose of the Role
This role will play a critical part in the transition to SAP S4 Hana for the Controlling team at RWE Generation. You will be the link between the Controlling team and a diverse range of project stakeholders.
Work closely with the S4 Hana project team and other project stakeholders.
Input into system design where required.
Map existing processes to determine how the new processes will look in S4 Hana.
Mapping of GL accounts and cost centres/profit centers/WBS-elements in new system.
Design and carry out UAT testing.
Data cleanse ahead of migration.
Reconcile migrated data and liaise with project stakeholders to correct any issues.
Help to train the Controlling team to use the new system.
Interface with sister workstreams and where appropriate co-ordinate efforts to resolve shared issues e.g. tax.
Knowledge & Skills
Good understanding and experience with SAP CO/PS system.
Confident personality with ability to speak up and raise issues/problems.
A real team player with initiative and 'can do' attitude who learns and adapts quickly in an international environment.
Tenacious, inquisitive and interrogative of processes and stakeholders.
Good organiser with project experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in both verbal and written.
Ability to influence project stakeholders and other business partners to meet project aims.
Calm manner with the capacity to think clearly under pressure whilst dealing with sophisticated issues.
Flexibility to travel to Germany/Netherlands to support project.
Strict approach with an eye for detail and quality of output.
End-to-end process leadership skills with ability to implement fields whilst maintain a flexible and adaptable approach.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
