The ideal candidate can work as part of a global SAP (GSAP) Lubricants Supply Chain team for Downstream ERP Organization. The Senior Business Analyst is expected to possess strong knowledge in SAP Materials Management and Stakeholder Management, working with legacy systems and have strong hands-on experience in SAP for developing new reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms.

What’s the role?

A Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in solution and designing of a project and prepare functional specification documents and carries out changes in the system. Test and coordinates with different stakeholders to meet business requirements and move changes to production system

Key Responsibilities for the role include: -

Customizing and Custom Development in the area of SAP Material Management or Production Planning / Quality Management.
Experience in Solution Designing.
Coach Business Analysts and Testers and support them in solution design
Creating/Modifying Functional specifications from a technical design perspective.
Develop design/solution development for reports, interfaces, enhancements and forms
Work closely with Product Managers and CC Leads to ensure new capabilities and new business requirements are understood and implemented in new areas.
Assist in the resolution of Production issues in meetings with Support Organization
Perform Prototyping in support of requirements definition or technical design questions
Write Test Scripts, Execute Unit, Integration Testing, and support execution of Regression Testing
Resolve defects/issues during test cycles and post project go-live support
Read and interpret data object definitions
Create Run books and participate in Run book peer reviews
Prioritize, Manage & Deliver multiple tasks – meeting aligned timelines, with optimal quality and optimize customer satisfaction
SAP Materials Management (MM)
Experience in SAP S/4 HANA
SAP PP-QM functional experience would be an advantage.
Stakeholder Management.
Strong Experience in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
Process control domain knowledge and understanding of lubricants landscape to cater to the Lubes Supply Chain process.
Delivery focused with doer/hands-on attitude
Skilled in requirements gathering and documenting from a technical solution perspective
Organized and methodical. Ability to plan and implement according to plan though coping with a level of uncertainty and risk
Have an oversight of all activities in his space, with an eye for detail

What we need from you

Shell is looking for Senior Business Analyst professional with proficiency across the following:

Extensive years of experience in SAP Materials Management is a must have for the role.
Candidates with knowledge and skills on SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) OR SAP Quality Management (SAP QM) along with experience in SAP Materials Management would be preferred.
Experience in Integration with SAP FI, SD & PM
Experience in working on S/4 HANA
Candidate with knowledge on Application Lifecycle and Testing tools like HP ALM.
Experience in working on data exchange (interfaces) with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
Professional experience in Agile.
Knowledge of Business Analysis techniques and tools.
Certifications on SAP MM/PP-QM would be preferred.
Basic Troubleshooting in ABAP & S/4 HANA would be an added advantage for the role.
