Role Description and Key Skills

Role Description

The purpose of this role is to take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of various aspects of the KBS Small Tech Automation plan.


Roles and responsibilities

Maintain pipeline of automation activity in line with team objectives and PI Scorecard
Act as liaison between business stakeholders and developers to ensure a full understanding of business requirements
Ensure all processes to be automated are fully understood and documented prior to initiation of automation activity.
Establish and validate benefits associated with all automation pipeline activity (and use this information to develop delivery plan)
Act as an initial point of contact for escalation of any issues relating to existing RPA Processes in KBS
Collate and issue reporting on various aspects of RPA activity (project progress, forecasting etc.)
Identify RPA opportunities through day-to-day interactions with stakeholders


Essential skills required

Education / professional qualifications

Graduate / Post Graduate


Prior Experience:

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in process improvement/business change, preferably with a technology aspect. This experience should have been obtained in a professional services firm or similar corporate environment (e.g. Banking, Finance, Shared Services).

Technical skills:

Knowledge of Process Improvement (Lean) principles
Proficiency in process design tools and techniques (e.g. MS Visio)
Basic understanding of Robotic Process Automation tools and their application

Able to facilitate process workshops
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management skills to meet challenging timelines
Ability to build and maintain relationships within team and other departments
