Job Description

Responsibilities :
Working with the HR Business Partners and reporting to the Senior Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

Contributing to and supporting the implementation of the HR Strategy
Supporting to the HRBP’s with disciplinaries, appeals, grievances, sickness absence and a range of employment and employee relations matters ensuring legislation, policy and best practice are followed.
Providing advice and guidance on HR issues.
Managing and maintaining contracts, personnel files and other employee information.
Regularly corresponding with employees verbally and in writing
Supporting with the recruitment process
Supporting with the management of absenteeism through the absence management policy for both short and long term cases, including occupational referrals as applicable
Supporting the Senior HRBP / UK HR Operations Manager in the management of other HR requirements when needed, including responsibility for projects and ad hoc requests.

Person specification

Possess a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent (including Maths and English)
CIPD Level 3 or 5 required
Proficient in all Microsoft packages, particularly Word and Excel
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal effectively and establish rapport with people at all levels
Professional approach and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Team player with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Able to take ownership of tasks and use initiative to solve problems, exercising appropriate level of judgement
Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
Able to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines, prioritising with a flexible approach
Full UK Driving Licence

Salary and benefits:

c£23,000 dependent on experience
