Helping our clients identify and address those risks to give them and their stakeholders confidence in their business is the purpose of our new Risk Assurance Line of Service. As a business, we have been providing services related to risk within our wider Assurance practice. On 1 July 2020, we established this new Line of Service to better use the scale and breadth of our practice including many of the firm’s experts in areas such as technology, regulation, cyber security, listings, actuarial, accounting, controls and internal audit.

About Enterprises and Enterprise Business Applications 

The Enterprises business unit will be leading the drive for growth and innovation across Risk, and enabling areas identified from within our business to have the space and breadth to rapidly scale. The purpose of our new BU is to incubate and scale some of our propositions and services to accelerate and supercharge their growth, as well as providing us with a place to develop some of our new solutions for the future.

We are currently made up of 3 key areas, PwC Sustainability, Enterprises Business Applications and Marketing & Media.

Our Enterprises Business Applications (EBA) is a rapidly growing team offering a range of high value services for organisations going through business and technology change. The team specialises in helping mid-sized, UK based organisations navigate complex and challenging Transformation programmes that are principally based on Microsoft Technology solutions. Our Microsoft team excels in de-risking these complex programmes and helping our clients to achieve their desired programme outcomes.

The Role

As a business analyst, you will ensure that client business requirements are captured, understood, and delivered part of digital transformation programmes. This will involve:
Planning, managing and tracking activities to capture business requirements in complex transformation programmes.
Working with client stakeholders to gain in-depth understanding of business processes and controls.
Assessing risks and inefficiencies in business processes.
Supporting business stakeholders in defining their desired future state. 
Documenting business requirements clearly and concisely.
Creating clear and accurate process maps.
Ensuring that design documentation addresses the scope of business requirements.
Facilitating discussions between client stakeholders to drive consensus on business requirements.
Communicating progress to programme leadership.
Working closely with project team members to support solution design, build and deployment activities
Person Specification
Experience of business analysis in large scale projects and/or programmes. 
Strong experience in facilitating workshops with stakeholders across internal, third party and client teams. 
Experience in identifying any gaps, inefficiencies or opportunities for automation while understanding the business processes and highlighting these. 
Ability to summarise and document complex business processes in a presentable manner so it is easily understood by the business and programme teams. 
Experience of mapping processes and documenting these through tools e.g. Visio or BPMN
Knowledge of standard business processes for a technology enabled company such as APQC. Understanding of the process hierarchy. 
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or F&O implementations would be advantageous. 
High attention to detail and willingness to learn and develop
Experience of using Microsoft Azure DevOps would be advantageous.
