Business Architect
Location: Sheffield Or London / Hybrid Homeworking
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: Up to a maximum of £60,000 - £66,250 per annum depending on experience and location

THE ROLE

A government-owned economic development bank, British Business Bank is looking for an experienced Business Architect to join the Enterprise Architecture team and help drive the design of our future operating model.

You will be responsible for ensuring the business unit(s), shared platforms and key initiatives are aligned to the enterprise vision and that we achieve the best possible outcomes for our business and our customers.
As a key player in the business unit and Enterprise Architecture Team, you will be involved in the development, identification and future planning of roads maps and solutions to achieve enterprise objectives.
Working with stakeholders in strategy development, initiative delivery and solution selection to test and validate business context and insight and leading a group of stakeholders to identify and achieve organisational goals, addressing conflict where necessary and building consensus.
Ensuring alignment between discrete business areas and the overarching business objectives and making strategic recommendations at Senior Leadership level and transformation roadmap planning.
To be considered for this role you will need to be experienced in Architecture Design / Analysis modelling techniques, tools and standards and ideally have experience in shaping and supporting. You will also need experience in technology and change initiatives, projects, programmes and portfolios along with leading delivery of business-critical projects / services in a large, complex organisations would also be a distinct advantage.
You will also ideally have experience in governance activities to enable effective management and decision making and be able to demonstrate influencing at Director level stakeholders in complex organisations.
The ability to visualise and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture is what we are looking for.
