Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Our client are a leading journal for scientific publications.


You are responsible for conducting business analyses to support the AI product vision and roadmap You take ownership of defining and documenting requirements for business processes to capture business needs and identify opportunities for product led growth You coordinate with data science and other technology teams to ensure alignment of development effort to business outcomes, supported by data evidence You work cross-functionally within the AI department and the wider technology group to define, produce and release business analyses to support roadmap and decision making You act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality delivery of analyses You partner with data teams to support data deep dives for business analyses You perform complex data research to identify opportunities to improve delivery speeds as well as improve efficiencies and customer experience in supporting business decision making You systematically identify data sources and perform analysis to influence product roadmaps based on business problems

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in business analyses related roles, ideally in roles with focus on AI and data products Previous experience as a business analyst or similar role Prior experience as a team leader and/or people management skills Prior experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, GCP) Data awareness and fluency, ability to deep dive into raw datasets to find key information that will enable you to perform analyses Strong knowledge of Agile principles and processes In-depth understanding of factors influencing industry market conditions and trends Solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal are vital Successful track record of delivering business analyses within budget, to resources' plan and on time.

Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals Excellent attention to detail Strong analytical skills and independent, entrepreneurial approach Creative and innovative thinker
