Requirement building for business and technical services, creation of user journeys and stories and business process modelling are all fundamental in the day to day of the role. As you’d expect, there’ll be plenty of close quarters working with Project Managers, Architects, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to flesh out project plans, work through our product back-log, and help define prioritisation and refinement activity. There’ll also be healthy wider involvement in data analysis, user acceptance testing, and supporting the business transformation and service transition that is needed for successful implementation.
Our Senior Business Analysts are champions of requirements-driven change – at this level we’d expect a savvy relationship builder; engagement with key stakeholders and subject matter experts at all levels from across the University is a critical part of the role, ensuring we fully understand the needs of our students, staff, and the Institution as a whole.
