Junior Business Analyst in Edinburgh - Anonymous

REED Technology have a fantastic opportunity to join a national tourism organisation as a Junior Business Analyst.
The role is primarily remote, however, with offices across Scotland there is the opportunity to work out of an office space however little or as much as you wish.
The successful candidate will join their Programme Management team within the Marketing & Digital Directorate to support the delivery of an ongoing transformational programme of work for the business, working across several major delivery projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate stakeholder requirement gathering sessions to scope and define business needs, fully investigating current business processes to ensure all necessary details to design the solution have been captured. Run sessions with business users as required throughout the project lifecycle to support delivery
Document requirements, in conjunction with business colleagues, ensuring they can be effectively communicated and clearly understood by both stakeholders and project teams
Collaborate with User Experience and Design team members to refine requirements/user stories in terms of user testing results, best practices, and website designs. Document Acceptance Criteria.
Provide training and procedure documentation support to the business to deliver and deploy to users, aiding the adoption and embedding of new business processes
Provide post implementation support as required to hand over to business-as-usual in-house support and processes. Contribute to post-implementation reviews to incorporate learnings for each stage of the project
Skills Required:
Previous experience of working as a Business Analyst in Agile focused Digital projects
Experience of Agile project methodologies and project management used throughout the project lifecycle
A high level of confidence in creating detailed process maps
Ability to inherit, review and deliver pre-set business objectives and requirements
Experience of User Acceptance Testing and supporting business resources to conduct testing
