HR Business Partner
London
Hybrid working
£75,000-80,000 + bonus

Network HR are working in partnership with a highly successful, global commodities brokerage to hire an experienced HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. The successful HR Business Partner will report into the Chief Financial Officer and will support the Leadership team in developing and implementing the HR/People strategy in line with the firm’s business plan. You will be a key member of the management team and will be expected to contribute by providing expert advice on all people related matters and will participate in discussions on the broader direction of business operations and procedures. This is a standalone role so you will need to have operational experience of managing a generalist remit across multiple areas of Human Resources such as Recruitment, employee life cycle, performance management etc. Responsibilities will include:

Design, implement and lead their global HR strategy, including recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management, reward & compensation, retention and leave management, succession planning, etc.
Develop and implement initiatives and procedures that help to further build a culture of excellence and one that fosters collaboration and employee satisfaction withing the brokerage
Ensure the business complies with all relevant laws and regulations including Health & Safety, employment law and other applicable workplace regulations in its various places of business; Draft and maintain best practice policies and procedures (Employment Handbook, T&E policy, etc.)
Run and oversee a small headcount of payroll, benefits & incentives incl. pension, health insurance, etc. in the UK & EMEA
Create and maintain all employment and benefit records in line with applicable regulations and best practice.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and will be able to build and maintain excellent stakeholder management. Whilst financial services experience is not mandatory for this appointment, we will require a background in a high touch boutique environment.
What you will need:
CIPD qualification
Commercially astute and outcome focused
Strong generalist background
UK or International employment law legislation.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
