Job Title: New Business Director Location: London (hybrid) OVERVIEW We are focused on growing our already impressive Enterprise client portfolio and are looking for an experienced New Business Director to focus purely on new clients, bringing in new revenue streams and therefore enhancing the scope of our team’s portfolio. The right candidate will need to have the right balance of proactivity, creativity, and resilience, alongside a willingness to learn and sell our offer and abilities. Role Purpose: Develop, review, and implement new business strategies Create new business relationships with potential clients Work with Marketing to improve our marketing materials To identify opportunities to introduce new products and services resulting in revenue growth and client retention Work with other members of their team to successfully onboard clients, providing account support until the client is established KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Continually identify new sales opportunities with new prospects Grow a strong new business portfolio Deliver against revenue targets Ability to understand and converse with clients on the full range of Profiles offers Identify client needs; collaborating with the Research Director team to design research projects to meet these needs. Capability to network within client organisations and develop new relationships to sell additional services into the client organisation Strong commercial focus, continually working to uncover new client revenue opportunities Evidence of success in tracking financial forecasts and activity throughout the sales cycle Ability to focus on setting and meeting revenue targets, while maintaining profitability and margins. Make recommendations and collaborate with the Marketing department on relevant propositions and collateral to share with clients CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Essential: Panel Industry Experience Excellent negotiating skills Track record in onboarding clients successfully Resilience, creativity and attention to detail Able to work on their own initiative Excellent verbal and written communication skills Track record in establishing effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally The drive to deliver excellent end to end client service Strong financial acumen Desirable: Ability to see long term goals and work tirelessly to get there Experience of leading kick-off/strategy meetings and proposition development, creating proposal documents including design and production, planning and leading client pitches.
