Our client, based in Nottinghamshire, is currently recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner on a permanent contract. Our client is locally renowned in the education sector and boasts impressive employee and student satisfaction scores.
The position is due to start ASAP on a full-time basis (37 hours per week) paying a salary of c£50,000pa based on experience.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Ensuring the right capability within the organisation by understanding current and future needs and managing talent as a result
Having a clear plan of how to address any gaps and ensure we have an upskilling plan for each area
Understanding organisation design, job design, job effectiveness and overall contribution and delivering on continuous improvement approach to reviewing what works and what does not
Supporting leaders to review and evaluate their service areas at least twice a year to ensure it meets the needs of the business
Providing regular and consistent Business Partner support to all nominated managers. Covering all elements of the People Strategy, including case management, people metrics, turnover, absence analysis, recruitment and retention and take positive action to address areas of concern
Reviewing trends and patterns of KPIs to ensure we address the root cause of issues and concerns
Leading on the HR aspects of TUPE transfers including consultation with trade unions and staff and liaison with legal advisers
Supporting leaders in developing and implementing change programmes, ensuring all change programmes are linked to the strategic aims of the team and people strategy
Navigating and guiding leaders and colleagues through transformation programmes to embed and ensure sustainable outcomes of transformation
Ensuring ongoing compliance and development of best practice HR initiatives which pro-actively promote diversity in the workplace and throughout the organisation
Developing, implementing and maintaining HR policies, procedures, processes and HR systems, using IT based solutions where possible
Working across the wider people and development team to deliver the People Strategy
Taking a proactive support role of managers and leaders to ensure the People agenda is met alongside the overarching company strategy
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Currently holds a CIPD qualification
Minimum of two years HR experience ideally within an education environment
Strong knowledge of change management, succession planning, culture change and coaching and supporting line managers
