Do you enjoy working within a fast-paced challenging environment, with opportunities to grow?
We are looking for an Agile Business Analyst on a 12 Month fixed term basis who will work as part of our agile cross functional software engineering teams.
A passionate and enthusiastic forward thinker, you will work closely with Product Owners, analysts and software engineering teams (including an off shore team) to identify and analyse business requirements and support application and process changes through the delivery lifecycle.
As part of a growing community of practice you will receive coaching and mentoring from other team members and there will be numerous opportunities to expand and increase your skills within an Analyst role.
*Key Skills and experience*
* Business and/or systems analysis experience
* Full understanding of the software development lifecycle
* Experience working in a cross functional development team
* An understanding of agile frameworks
* Experience managing and facilitating agile meetings, ceremonies, tasks and events appropriate to the BA role, including requirements workshops, impact assessments, backlog refinements and retrospectives
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Desirable Skills and Experience*
* Demonstrable analysis skills and knowledge of design methodologies gained through formal training.
* An Insurance industry qualification, demonstrating knowledge of industry business practice.
* Experience with Jira or similar
