Support the development of an early careers framework.
Assess opportunities and implement plans to improve the Magnox presence in the STEM landscape across the UK.
Take a leading role in the STEM steering group to shape the Magnox approach.
Attend career fairs, promoting the opportunities in STEM and Magnox.
Support the Magnox Apprenticeship programmes, liaising with sites, colleges and mentors to ensure a robust programme.
Working in partnership with Energus and the NDA estate for the provision of Nuclear Graduates for Magnox.
Organisation of company induction programmes for Graduates and Apprentices.
Work with functional leads and HR Business Partners to support transition from early careers to substantive roles within the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience
Good understanding, knowledge and experience of working with Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes-Essential
Knowledge of Nuclear industry training requirements and regulatory landscape - Essential
Access to own transport and ability to travel for occasional visits to sites/office - Essential
A true people person with well-developed communication skills. Friendly and approachable with an ability to influence and challenge using a collaborative approach - Essential
Passionate about learning and development, health and safety and supporting others - Essential
Comfortable and experienced in working with professionals at all levels, both internally and externally - Essential
Good IT skills, especially in relation to Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Powerpoint. Comfortable in using, and adapting to, different IT systems - Essential
Highly autonomous and able to work under own initiative with creative mindset - Essential
Good numeracy skills with an eye for detail and enthusiasm for obtaining data insights - Desirable
Good literacy skills and comfortable communicating information to groups of people - Essential
Specific knowledge of Magnox internal L&D processes and procedures - Desirable
Experienced and/or qualified in learning and development - Desirable
CIPD or relevant Technical Qualification - Desirable
Flexible working - where possible.
Equivalent of 25 days (185 hours) annual leave plus Public Holidays (59.2 hours per year) - option to buy or sell up to one week each year.
Participation in Company Bonus Scheme (up to £4,500 per annum based on corporate objectives).
Up to 13.5% employer pension contribution depending on individual contribution amount.
Access to training and development through the company performance management arrangements, supporting you in maintaining your personal Continuous Professional Development.

There is a requirement to live within a commutable distance to the sites where the role is based. For central/multi-site roles, we have various hubs across the UK and can be flexible with base location.
