SLC have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team within Customer Operations. The team undertake Business Analysis across the full range of SLCs annual Change Programmes supporting the delivery of Government policy or technology uplifts etc as well as supporting the SLC Automation Studio that delivers Intelligent Automation to Operations, Repayment and our Technology Group.
The team engage and support the Continuous Improvement Managers across the Operations Directorate to deliver enhancements to our business processes, user and customer experience.
The successful Candidate will be required to engage with, influence and inform internal and external stakeholders as they elicit, analyse & document Business Requirements, User Stories and other standard project deliverables that are required to support project delivery teams. The candidate will lead and facilitate cross functional teams from across the organisation using established project methodologies to complete the analysis activities and agreed outputs.
SLC offer a Blend working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
What you bring:
Graduate calibre or equivalent work-based experience
Minimum 3 years proven experience in Business Analysis or suitable business experience
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and knowledge of investigation techniques
Excellent attention to detail and able to produce high quality analytical outputs
Proven experience of leading teams
Excellent general business knowledge
Knowledge of Financial Services
Experienced in workshop facilitation
Able to plan and track own work
Excellent understanding of processing modelling and use of relevant tools (preferably BPMN2)
Experience of Lean, Agile, and other methodologies
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships with people at all levels
