We have an exciting opportunity to join our European IT Production Support Team as an Associate Business Systems Analyst. Reporting to the Production Support Manager you will become a subject matter expert for the support and troubleshooting of our IT Applications across Europe. You will support systems and end-users by analyzing, recommending and implementing system corrections, fixes and enhancements that promote efficiency, compliance and growth. You will also contribute expertise in business processes and system functionality. This includes coordinating activities on maintenance and troubleshooting of medium to high risk complexity. Finally, you will deliver the continued running of business-critical systems and information. There is an element of out of hours working for on-call and occasional out of hours releases to support client agreements
Other responsibilities include:
Be the customer / IT liaison when system incidents are reported.
Provide general customer and IT support for assigned business applications; deals with the most complex system problem logs; work with business and technical staff to perform trend analysis across incidents and problems and applies business knowledge and practical experience to recommend system improvement efficiencies for both the business and IT units
Conduct meetings with customers to establish priorities
Support the user in testing the resolution of the system problems to ensure quality of the outcome.
Ensure that any changes implemented in the system are documented and communicated across the Production Support teams.
Provide application monitoring and general health checks to eliminate change to service
You will have
Experience troubleshooting system problems with a variety of tools (SQL, FTP, etc.)
Basic Knowledge of SQL query language.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems related.
ITIL V3 Foundation or Higher
Experience analysing data to draw out the root cause of the system issues to find a solution.
Experience analysing incident trends to highlight system problems
Experience leading meetings to triage and agree next actions to resolve
