Macdonald and company have been instructed on a role on behalf of an independent property consultancy business.
They are now looking for a Research & Business Support Associate. The successful candidate will thrive in a small, friendly team, working closely with other staff members and taking ownership of research tasks as well as providing support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role offers excellent prospects for growth within the company and will suit a research analyst with experience.
Research
Completing research tasks and assisting with client searches
Compiling comparable evidence
Searching Local Council planning databases and monitoring policy updates.
Using a range of websites and databases including; Land Registry, LonRes, Rightmove, ProMap, Companies House, Expert Agent, CoStar, Google Earth, Photoshop, VOA, Prime Resi
Posting search criteria to LonRes & LinkedIn. Collating any responses and creating shortlists for clients.
Maintaining contact lists and sending mail via MailChimp
Maintaining accurate records (digital and physical filing) across all files.
Creating letters via Mail Merge
Client support
Responsible for creating and finalising all client reports including open market appraisals, pre-offer appraisals, investment packs and market reports.
Formatting template documents and keeping files up to date on the company drive.
Preparing fee proposals, contracts, NDAs and Ts & Cs
Producing viewing notes & brochures to support the director and other sales staff
Liaising with 3rd parties to collate brochures, floorplans and other property details in advance of viewings
Essential Skills
Strong analysis skills
Creating reports and PowerPoints, formatting documents
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, ultra-organised, thorough notetaking
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually.
Essential Experience
2:2 degree or higher
Experience in the property sector
Knowledge of the planning process and property development
Proficiency in a range of software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe.
Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
Salary:
£20,000 - £26,000
