Role and Responsibilities
They shall be responsible for producing arrival sheets for the incoming stock.
they shall as directed place identification tags on timber packs, sheets and logs Newly arrived.
They shall reconcile specifications however received with actual goods landed, any discrepancy must be reported in the first instance to the stock co-ordinator.
They shall then enter the landed specifications as directed, into the company's stock record computerised system.
They shall mark off and reduce the stock from the system with reference to the yard orders (pink) any errors should be referred to the stock co-ordinator.
They shall record any good processed for holding in stock through the duplicate 'flimsy' book.
Ensure all the company's policies, standards and procedures are adhered to.
Ensure that the health, safety and environmental rules are adhered to.
Personally submit near miss/suggestion forms to prevent any accidents in the workplace where appropriate
Achieve the personal objectives agreed at performance review meetings.
Perform the related duties as assigned by line manager.
Required Skills
· Must have good Maths and English
· Good keyboard skills
· Excellent telephone manner
· Numerate and Literate
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work to tight timescales
· Good communication skills
· Accurate and good attention to detail
Required Qualifications
Maths, English and ICT, GCSE Grade 4-9 or equivalent
Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Maths & English level 2 if not already achieved.
Appts with apprentice, employer & provider, observations of workplace as well as gathering evidence.
Undertake self-assessment in last month of apprenticeship. The self-assessment must be submitted to the end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for End Point Assessment which will include a showcase portfolio; a project, employer reference & interview about the portfolio and project.
