Belle Vue Estates are looking for the next something special to join their family- run property business. The business is heavily involved in Gateshead’s local community and need someone who can professionally represent their front of house, looking after each and every client who visits the premises and support the team with administrative duties. Role and Responsibilities
(Lettings) Duties are to include:
Front of house representation; meeting and greeting customers.
Answering the telephone, responding to emails and web enquiries.
Appointment booking and diary management for self and colleagues.
Contacting customers and responding to enquiries.
General office filing, scanning and preparation of work.
Registering applicants and property matching.
Key Management.
Issuing monthly Landlord Statements.
Managing and allocating rent payments including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit awards.
Understanding Letting and Property Management legislation.
Actively promoting the business and work colleagues.
Required Skills
Excellent communication skills
Good telephone manner
Professional and confident when dealing with customers
Good knowledge of IT systems
Ability to follow procedures
Able to work as part of a team, and on own
Required Qualifications
Maths, English and ICT, GCSE Grade 4-9 or equivalent.
· Maths and English to Level 2 required, if not already achieved. The Level 2 maths and English to Level 2 – test to be taken – please note the apprentice will need to study to be capable of passing the level 2 and cannot simply be entered for it without proof of readiness to take test.
· Ongoing assessment by the employer and provider – for example meetings with apprentice, employer and learning provider, observations of workplace, gathering evidence
· Knowledge, Skills and Behaviour in relation to: customer service principles and practices, business principles, customer communication and health and safety.
Undertake a self-assessment in the last month of their apprenticeship to enable them to see whether they are confident that they have taken on board all aspects of the occupation. This self-assessment must be submitted to the independent end point assessor as a source of evidence to prepare for independent End Point Assessment which will include a showcase portfolio, a practical observation and professional discussion.
