Pay rates: From £11.17 - £13.98 per hour  (inclusive of holiday pay)

Flexible working:  Shift patterns are:  Waking Nights

Hours: 20.30 – 08.30  - Monday – Sunday

There is also a requirement for overlap hours of 07.00 – 10.00

Our client is a 13 year old male, who is totally dependent on his family and care team to meet all his needs.  He has early onset epileptic encephalopathy, Gobal Developmental Delay and profound learning difficulties.   He has administration of feed and flushes via gastrostomy. He requires suctioning and administration of oxygen. 

He lives at home with his parents and  your role will be to provide full care and support to our client at the family home during waking nights shifts.

There will be an opportunity for you to attend a meet & greet / work shadow shifts prior to going live – this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate where you will receive A1 training and job satisfaction. 

As a Healthcare Assistant you will have an opportunity to build on your current experience by working directly with clinical interventions including but not limited to:-

NG/Gastrostomy feeding, BIPAP, Cough Assist, Tracheostomy. Suction etc.

As a Healthcare Assistant  with Advantage Healthcare you will:

  • Have paid experience as a support worker or healthcare assistant (HCA) in a community, or residential setting
  • Be committed to providing the highest standard of compassionate care
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (preferred but not essential)
  • Sound knowledge of  person centred care
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
