Your role

Our consultants work in a variety of projects to solve clients' toughest data problems by combining industry experience, consulting and analytical skills to create a lasting impact.

Our projects and clients vary greatly and your responsibilities will differ based on your level of experience/skillset and the focus of the client engagement, but within our Analytics & Cognitive Belfast practice, your role is likely to include some or all of the following:

  • Developing or leading the design and delivery of data solutions such as ETL components, data warehousing, reporting solutions, data migration or data virtualisation solutions;
  • Being hands on with data from initial concepts and assessment through to development and deployment;
  • Advising clients on appropriate tooling for a particular solution based on your expertise in specific technologies;
  • Providing specialist industry knowledge in the data & analytics domain to our clients and further our offering in new and innovative technologies or applications of technologies;
  • Managing or developing relationships with key client stakeholders and leading or participating in client workshops to capture business or technical requirements for a data solution;
  • Being highly collaborative, working closely with clients and end users;
  • Focusing on exceeding client expectations and delivering against our continuous improvement goals, taking a client problem and turning it into a technical solution;
  • Supporting our future pipeline of work, from design to sales, through to setup and delivery; and
  • Working in an environment where self-development, learning and knowledge sharing is actively encouraged as part of the day-to-day work of the team.

Your work, your choice

At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. We carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you.

Location: Your office location is flexible, and can be any of our regional offices across the UK.
