Commercial Analyst wanted.
I am representing a rapidly expanding company, that is a market leader in their field.
The head office is located in Windsor, Berkshire. New opportunity has arisen for a driven Commercial Analyst to add significant value to the business. The Commercial Analyst will perform due diligence and financial appraisals on potential new development sites and commercial analysis on the operation performance of the business.
The successful Commercial Analyst will be a significant key member of Senior Management.
The Commercial Analysis responsibilities will be split and are are as follows:
Costs, Staffing levels and Agency Tracking
Review planned rotas to ensure compliance with agreed staffing levels.
Compare actual worked hours to planned and budgeted levels to identify issues.
Review actual and forecast agency levels, raising issues with Senior Management.
Advise on forecast agency levels and plans to mitigate.
Revenue, Resident Fees and Margin Analysis
Monitor client's dependency based fees, determining and advising where fee increases are appropriate/required.
Perform margin analysis to identify and drive opportunities.
Operating and Other Analysis
Analyse and circulate weekly Active and Inactive enquiries schedule.
Maintain, analyse and circulate weekly Marketing Summary Reports tracking the number and sources of enquiries per care home, as well as occupancy movements.
Using the Marketing Summary Reports, analyse monthly data including enquiries, admissions, discharges and deaths. Use this data to prepare the Senior Management meeting report. Liaise with Group Sales and Marketing Manager to distribute report.
Compile and interpret Telephone data. Analyse the source of our telephone data and publish results in the Senior Management Meeting Report.
Analyse and interpret Call Bell frequency and response times on a monthly basis. Distribute to the operations team ahead of the Senior Management meeting.
Carry out ad-hoc analysis on performance of operational sites.
Support Operations/Finance Director with ad hoc commercial/analysis requirements.
Manage the group’s minibus fleet.
Review potential development sites with the Development Director.
Carry out due diligence of sites, comprising detailed catchment areas, demographic, competition and wealth profile analysis. Review the quality of competition in a given catchment.
Produce financial appraisals per site including fee analysis, wage cost analysis, staffing ratios, P&L forecasting, development costs and land valuation.
Liaise with an external research consultancy on Acquisition Due Diligence reports. Analyse their draft report and compare with your own due diligence.
Assist Development Director in preparing the Investment Proposal to gain Board approval from both our UK and US based stakeholders.
Maintain the development pipeline of opportunities and update on a weekly basis.
Prepare presentations for Development Director.
Excellent communication and IT skills, including advanced Excel.
Strong systems and analysis skills. (CRM system desirable but not essential)
Confident, ambitious, commercially aware.
Multi-site business experience advantageous.
