Airport In-flight Agent / Aviation Assistant / Service provider

Start Date - ASAP

Hourly Rate - £9.73ph

Hours - Shift patterns including early mornings, afternoons and weekend shifts

Location - Christchurch, Bournemouth

My client, a highly regarded UK based Airport is looking for In-flight Agents / Aviation Assistants to join their team in helping them provide their excellent services within their terminal and to their customer airlines.

Job Summary of the Airport In-flight Agent / Aviation Assistant / Service provider

To provide the In-flight catering and Bond Store packing services to the aircraft as required by our customer airlines. This includes (but not limited to) the packaging of the flight meals, participating in the Bond operations which could involve sorting and transporting luggage along with other tasks.

The duties of the Airport In-flight Agent / Aviation Assistant / Service provider will include:

  • Providing In-flight Catering and Bond Store packing services that comply with the Airport security program following best practice.
  • Following internal and external regulatory requirements and all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring services provided to airlines and passengers are delivered in a smooth, safe and efficient way, meeting the highest professional standards.
  • Making sure security passes are complying with directions and identifying any security/safety risks.
  • Pro-actively assist with specific duties in "abnormal" events, which may arise e.g., snow clearing, aircraft incident/accident, and mass aircraft diversion.

Skills and experience needed for the Airport In-flight Agent / Aviation Assistant / Service provider :

  • Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Accountable, responsible and reliable.
  • A full driving licence and own transport.
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures.
  • Able to work in a manual environment and repeatedly lift to 32kg throughout a shift.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a challenging environment.
  • Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired.

A DBS, Security check and 5 year working history references will be undertaken and will be required prior to you commencing work and the offer of employment will be subject to receiving this on time.
