PCB Design Engineer job in Watford, Hertfordshire (West of London)

A leading research and development organisation based in Watford, Hertfordshire are seeking a capable PCB Design Engineer to join their continuously organisation. As a PCB Design Engineer you will get the opportunity to create design complex multi-layered PCBs for electro-mechanical products for aerospace, medical, satellite communications broadcast, and telecommunications industries across the globe. You will be joining a business with over 100 employees and 30 years in the industry.
As a PCB Design Engineer you will be expected to design multi-layered (up to 8 layer) PCBs using Altium. You will work closely with Electronics, RF, and Mechanical Engineers to ensure products are designed to specification.

PCB Design Engineer skills / experience required:

  • Industrial experience in multi-layered PCB design is essential.
  • Previous experience in using Altium, or a similar PCB CAD tool (Zuken, Mentor Graphics, etc.).
  • Some experience with Bill of Materials (BOMs) and assembly drawings.
  • Exposure to high-speed or radio frequency boards would be beneficial but not essential.
