Our Spalding based client is looking for a HR Generalist to support their fast-paced production business.
Providing a wide range of HR support services to managers covering a vast amount of ER cases.
*Provide and promote advice and guidance on all Human Resource matters by interpreting policies, procedures and employment law
*Support and develop the staff base by recruiting, testing, interviewing, counselling managers on candidate selection, analysing exit interviews, and carrying out Induction programs.
*Negotiating terms and conditions of employment.
*Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing new legislation as required.
*Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
*Using HR Information systems to access, input and compile data.
*Dealing with various HR queries throughout the Business, including sites not based in the UK.
*Identify ways to improve policies and procedures.
*Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
*Deal with disciplinary and grievance issues as they arise.
*Support and advise line managers on all employee-related issues.
*Managing all Maternity/Paternity/Adoption/Parental leave/flexible working arrangement cases.
*Proactively monitor sickness absence and managing long term sickness, performance issues and probation, making the appropriate recommendations.
*Ensuring routine correspondence letters are sent out in a timely and accurate manner.
*Provide high-quality advice and service to Management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
The successful candidate will be qualified to a minimum of CIPD Level 3 and possess practical knowledge of Employment Law.
My client offers up to 30 days holiday including bank holidays and a salary up to £30,000pa.
