Mansfield District Council has an exciting opportunity available for an Senior Environmental Health Officer (Housing) to join their team. You will be working on a full-time basis (working 37 hours per week) and in return, our Architect will receive a competitive salary of up to £32,910 - £36,922 per annum.
About the Senior Environmental Health Officer (Housing) role:
The Private Sector Housing team are seeking an enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated individual for the Senior Environmental Health Officer (Housing) role in our busy private sector housing service.
You will co-ordinate the day to day actions and responses of a small but busy enforcement team dealing with disrepair complaints, HMO licensing and empty properties as well as having your own active caseload.
Our idealSenior Environmental Health Officer (Housing):
You will have significant experience and thorough knowledge of current housing legislation as it relates to private sector housing and possess a Level 6 qualification in Environmental Health or an equivalent qualification recognised by the EHORB, as well as professional registration with EHORB. You will also have a qualification in management or substantial line management experience.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
