Job Description

Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Information Compliance Officer to work with the Information Management Service in Norwich. This position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying £11.50 - £13.37 per hour (PAYE and umbrella company options available for payment).

The role:

Provides practical support and advice to ensure information compliance in particular in respect of requests for information from members of the public and organisations such as the police, health, Ofsted etc.

This post will deliver operational compliance with internal Information Management (IM) standards and statutory responsibilities and the efficient application of IM processes and procedures particularly in respect of data protection, freedom of information requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process information requests in line with policies and procedures
  • Provide advice and assistance to colleagues/requestors/recipients of information regarding all matters relating to information requests
  • Maintain and update team databases to ensure accurate statistics of IM Compliance work
  • Support the implementation of new records management policy and procedures as and when implemented

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Appropriate professional qualification with minimum NVQ Level 3 business administration (or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience working to and meeting deadlines.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and 2 x references.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
