An opportunity has arisen for an organised and professional individual to join us as a Compliance Manager, to support all functions of the business in ensuring client and contract employee compliance meets legislative and regulatory requirements.

The Role

  • Be across all individual contractual compliance requirements and to assist in implementing our on-boarding procedures for new contract employees. (contractors)
  • To create and monitor paperwork for new starters ensuring SLA’s have been adhered to. This is from a higher level, so may require conversations with the agencies to find the best way to set up their workers. This is to be personalised dependant on agency or client. At all times this is to be managed by the Compliance Supervisor.
  • Reading and reviewing all contracts to ensure that our client is not at risk when signing third party contracts and assisting clients when signing Terms & Conditions
  • Request and review all contract employee assignment schedules to ensure they are in keeping with what has been agreed between the employee and the agency or end Client
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practise
  • Ensure all office compliance systems are kept up to date and regularly reviewed
  • Escalate all compliance issues immediately to senior managers
  • Ensure all working contract employees are fully compliant, specific to contractual requirements for each client
  • Ensuring all working contract employees are eligible to work in the UK, by carrying out checks of Passports, Biometric Permits, Visas, and proof of address requirements. Liasing with Home Office where necessary.
  • To assist the GOM and CEO to prepare for upcoming audits when necessary and to ensure all necessary documentation is provided and update as relevant to present to auditors
  • Resolving all candidate queries and escalating as necessary via regular email and phone communication
  • Taking a proactive approach to ensuring employees remain 100% compliant to work
  • Supporting the GOM to maintain efficient and accurate reporting systems
  • Conduct reviews of compliance with regulatory process and procedures, where required action plans to be documented, implemented, and tracked to closure
  • Liaising with internal colleagues to understand administrative support required across all functions of the business
  • To ensure effective delivery of good customer service to all clients and contract employees at all times.
  • Ensure the smooth running of admin processes from new contractors to leavers. With this the requirement to manage the CRA team is paramount alongside the CRA Manager

Compliance Manager

  • To complete and submit compliance questionnaires RFI PQQ and Tenders once sign off is obtained
  • To contact clients/agencies where needed, providing excellent customer service.
  • Answer queries in relation to documentation. (Such as ID documents, Contracts) making sure the CRA Team have collated the right information. On occasions whereby this is missing you are to liaise with the CRA Supervisor.
  • Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable operations and effective service to connected departments.
  • Experience and Skills Needed
  • A minimum of 3 years compliance experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly organised and process-driven
  • Previous experience within administration or compliance
  • Compliance audit experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
