We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprenticeship Compliance and Quality Officer to support us with growing & development our apprenticeship programmes, offering a competitive salary on a Full Time and Permanent basis.

In this position as Apprenticeship Compliance and Quality Officer your primary responsibilities will be to support the Apprenticeship Manager in developing and implementing systems that ensure that our apprenticeship provision continues to be compliant from an ESFA perspective and quality assured from an Ofsted inspection perspective.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Apprenticeship Manager to manage, review, improve and implement quality processes, for the delivery of Apprenticeships.
  • Support with the creation and submission of Self-Assessment Reports (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) and the activities underpinning these.
  • Maintain awareness of ESFA funding guidance in order to maintain funding compliance and carry out learner funding audits.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management & Leaders within the business to support with governance.
  • Working with Apprenticeship Programme Managers and EPAO’s to co-ordinate End Point Assessment.
  • Coordinate apprenticeship induction which includes drafting commitment statements; Apprenticeship Agreements and registration documents and providing line managers with guidance.
  • Support with the implementation of essential aspects of the apprenticeship curriculum such as Safeguarding and PREVENT activities.

Training will be provided; however, you must have experience of working with apprenticeship standards and improving quality in apprenticeship programmes.

We’re looking for someone with detailed and up-to-date knowledge of apprenticeship quality, and a strong understanding of apprenticeship performance measures.

Furthermore we’re looking for candidates with;

  • Experience of working Apprenticeship provision with either FE; WBL Provider or employer-provider.
  • Experience of using ESFA funding management systems such as MAS or iDAMS.
  • Understanding of ESFA funding management (ILR; FIS; achievement rates).
  • Demonstrable experience of core education-focused systems e.g. PICs; MAYTAS and ILR processing and Learner Records Service.
  • Teaching qualification e.g. V1/TAQA, PGCE, DTTLS, would be desirable but not essential
  • Good literacy / numeracy skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and systems.
  • Good at relationship building, both internally and externally.
