RF Systems Architect


We have an exciting, brand new opportunity for an accomplished RF Systems Architect with extensive experience of RF transceiver design for mobile communications to join a highly innovative and fast growing fabless semiconductor start-up in Cambridge. As the RF Systems Architect, you will be responsible for evaluating highly complex RF system requirements and guiding the product development along with a multi-disciplinary R&D team. As an experienced all-round Electronics Engineer with extensive expertise in RF Electronics Design, you will actively contribute to the design, optimization, test and performance evaluation of various RF transceiver elements, including cascade noise figure, linearity and filters.

Requirements of RF Systems Architect :

  • A 1st or 2.1 degree in a related subject, Electronics Engineering, Communication Systems, Physics or similar
  • Demonstrable experience in RF transceiver design within mobile comms, including cascade noise figure, linearity and filter specifications
  • Good understanding of RF transceiver performance requirements specification, test and measurement and analysis
  • Experience or good knowledge of RF circuit simulation and modelling methods
  • Experience or good knowledge of Matlab or Python scripting languages
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members and lead a small technical team
