Our client, a leading multi branch independent in Surrey is looking for a property manager to help them manage the existing portfolio and to enable portfolio growth.
The skills required for this PROPERTY MANAGER role will include:
·Previous experience in residential Lettings or Property Management
·ARLA membership favored though not essential
·High level of customer service skills
·Excellent telephone manner
·Self-Motivated and efficient
·Confident team player
·Positive, professional and customer focused with an ability to build relationships
·Willing to keep up to date with training and relevant legislations
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Your duties will include, but not limited to: • Daily liaison with tenants, landlords and contractors dealing with questions, complaints and updates • Appointment and monitoring of contractors • Invoice authorisation for works carried out by contractors • Carrying out property inspections and writing reports of outcomes and letters to landlords and tenants • Updating the property management database as necessary • Ensuring tenant / contractor / landlord compliance with statutory and contractual obligations • Providing property management advice within area of expertise to landlords and tenants • Organising gas safety certificates, electrical certificates and EPCs as necessary • Organising quotes for repair / maintenance on behalf of landlords and overseeing works There will be other duties and requirements associated with your job and, in addition, as a term of your employment you may be required to undertake various other duties as may be required of you at your initial place of work or at any other of the client's offices.
