Salary & Benefits

Job Purpose:

To be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the nursery site by managing the daily quality check of our sites, ensuring we are meeting brand guidelines. As part of our team your role is to make sure that our families and staff have an amazing experience all time.

Main Duties

Brand

  • All sites to be in keeping with brand guidelines
  • The look and feel of the nursery maintained you must have a good eye for detail

Maintaining the upkeep of the nursery buildings

  • Maintaining the highest quality standards inside and outside areas
  • Manage and support Head of Housekeeping
  • Assist in special cleaning projects
  • Take ownership while proving highest service
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Replenish supplies in parent rooms and we work spaces

Cleaning and upkeep of the nurseries including the following

  • COSHH training
  • Rota of deep cleaning per room
  • Lock up of Nurseries
  • Training
  • Cleaning procedure as per public health advise in virus outbreak
  • Managing our head housekeeper, ensuring monthly audits are reported on

Nursery preventive Maintenance

  • Lift upkeep and yearly maintenance and checks
  • Security of sites including alarms, fobs, locks and lights
  • Fire alarms and testing
  • Air conditioning maintenance
  • Management of "Up Keep", nursery maintenance app

Nursery Gardens

  • Managing Nursery Gardener
  • Managing planting
  • Management watering and feeding plants
  • Maintain the rota between sites
  • Set the expectation of all gardens, from design to plant choice

Laundry and uniform

  • Machine upkeep and servicing
  • Distribution and collection prosses for sheets and uniform
  • Managing delivery driver
  • Managing uniform orders and stocks

Maintenance through Origen

  • Liaise with Project Manager on scheduled works for setting
  • Manage scheduled work in priority
  • App upkeep
  • Control of contractors working on-site and associated legislative requirements

Cost control and ordering prosses

  • Sanitary items
  • Cleaning products
  • PPE products

Recruitment

  • Leasing with Head of Talent and Recruitment on vacancies
  • Interview candidates following the safer recruitment policy
  • Take the lead of admin duties in order to support the efficient running of the building
  • Procurement for services and monitor supplies performance
  • Reporting monthly summarising activities and KPI’s
  • Attending monthly manager’s meetings
  • Maintain tight cost control of P&L by budget management across all nursery sites
