Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced data protection practitioner to join our Corporate Services team.

This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection legislation and regulations, as well as the creation of best practice in the development and implementation of data protection requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing and managing a compliance framework for data protection in housing, or a similar customer focussed sector.  Someone who will go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally, through how we protect, manage and communicate with customer and staff about their data.

In this role there is a requirement to build effective relationships with individuals and teams across the organisation and to inspire others to have a data protection focus within their activities.  The role will support colleagues to successfully manage data in line with our policies and procedures and also help them to innovate and seek new and better ways to ensure they can apply data protection requirements through their work.

The role will also play a critical role in our organisational change programme and provide data protection expertise on change initiatives, both within our operational improvement programme and the delivery of our strategic priorities.
